Then costumes! Day of the dead!

Maybe harder to comprehend

It's coming! In a mere three weeks
The spookiest of holidays--

I think the scariest costume

Truth told its story, one fall day
We then let falsehood take a turn.
We listened to what they had to say
"A need for balance" was our concern.

No one hears the rabbit's side
When it speaks for itself
Or when those cries are from inside
A newly fattened wolf.
