High Yule tide at nine

Many think it's over
But it just started yesterday
And as I missed the first night
Then tonight it's what I'll play

Hope has bruised knuckles at nine

Light another candle
Make the world a little brighter
Pull your loved ones near
Hold them a little tighter
It's dark and we need fire
So bring matches or lighter
Despair if far too easy
Together, we can fight her

Look at that; it's getting cold
