De-icing at eight

We worked from home two days this week
To keep us safe from harm
And, while that is great and all,
I just wish it was warm

Back at it at eight

Two weeks were interrupted
By a couple holidays
They didn't feel special
They were just Wednesdays
And with all that's said and done
At least a Friday night has come

We're midway through the week that isn't
And while I'm not a strict adherent
I'd just like to say
Be it eight or twelve days
There's still time to give folks those presents

Not so jolly NOW, at eight

All this Christmas music
Has gotten on my nerves
I going to counter tonight
With lots of remixed Verve

And around we go at eight

So, it's been a month now
While talking with a friend
He said it stood to reason
45s are the new trend

Leftovers at eight

A healing week and all that's good
Tonight, we celebrate with food

Plumbing adventures at eight

I want hot water
And now, I have hot water
