It's only 30 days away. That's not long. Well...31.

It's so damn hot; it's not even July yet
Which I suppose indicates just how hot it will get
And yes, SecondLife is an inside-activity
And you'll hear not complaints on that from me
Still, I'm taking a break and will be back in August
And I adore you all and you all will be missed.
I haven't started my sabbatical yet
So come by at eight to hear the set

Bring a baked dish at eight

One thing that puts us in good moods
Is talk of sex or talk of food
We never find it it crude or base
To discuss such varied tastes
But why should characters unreal
Find in such talk such broad appeal?
So why this constant verbal feast?
Man talks of most what he has least

Is your computer digital-age ready?

The winds doth blow! So comes the change
From drought to verdant valleys lush
And television, just as strange,
Away from analog shall rush
The rains that fall here (inches thick)
Along with thunder loud and great
Is turning TVs into bricks.
The digital age starts at eight.

David Carradine is a good first line for a haiku

almost done with book
job just around the corner
life is looking good

The fish was delish and made quite the dish.

Don't expect too much from me
I've actually been busy
So songs of things under the sea
Will fill two hours (maybe three).

The usual unusual at eight

You know those little tracks I play
When I start off a set?
They're there so I can settle
Any problems I might get
It's just a way of testing things
So I can do that first
But I bet you didn't know
I have HOURS worth.

Self-depreciating humor at eight.

Relay For Life is on once again
So crowds that aren't there will be kinda thin
But if you happen to come by here
I'll give you the same that I did last year.
