We're just running all over the place
And so tonight's theme will be about space
It seems no one can keep their head
While we sort the living from dead
From closed club ashes, new ones spring
Everyone has their own thing
I know it's been an odd week, but
The set will start at, wait, dude...what?

And someone's email rejected my notice due to "profanity". Booo!
The news this week was f*cking dumb
Pope in plane! Pointless debates!
My brain is slowing going numb.
My themeless set begins at eight.

And that show started at 8 SL time, 10 central
I heard that there were some complaints
That notices were getting too numerous
I could be at fault; never said I was a saint
But I wonder what the source of the rumor is
And I try my best to not use the group chat
(Because for some, it's an absolute crime)
But still, someone's upset, and so that's that for that
So I'll only post this notice one time.

Sonnets are too long for club notices.
There is a lack of input here
Just words inside a heartless box
Yet, what is meant is always clear
A kind of "Meno's paradox."
Lepidoptera has butterflies
The "ptrera" is the Greek for "wing"
To coleoptera, beetle replies
Hymenoptera include those that sting
But the "Menoptra" is, you see,
A Dr. Who creature is seems
So that's the right last name for me!
I thought I'd keep that insect theme.
And thus, discuss the bugs you hate
The show, as always, starts at eight.
